Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her debut fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round via TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the second. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first fight of note came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as the Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by majority vote.
